Storyboarding

A student stumbles upon a seemingly normal coin. His day takes an unexpected turn as he learns the coin isn't as normal as it seems. Flipping it teleports them to another part of the school! Most students he encounters give confused looks, but one looks a little too angry. What will he do?

I wrote and storyboarded a project which was then filmed based on the storyboards drawn.

Mandalorian EPK

This video was created using various video editing skills in order to promote the TV series The Mandalorian. Three zones were used, a hype intro, a story, and a hook. The hype intro was created with sound effects and a track matte key for the Mandalorian title. The story was created with L and J cuts of various interviews and clips from the show. The hook was created with sound effects and then rolling credits edited with corner pin to give them the signature Star Wars scrolling credit look.

School Hype

This project utilized B-roll techniques learned in class to make an engaging and interesting video promoting the visual arts program. There are various visual art projects to be found around the school and within the art classrooms. Students work hard to create masterpieces that put the ideas in their heads down on paper, or maybe even a wall! WSHS's visual art program has many talented people whose work has been seen in this video. The art program deserves all the love and help it can get in order to encourage these individuals to continue to create and make our school a more unique place.

Mixtape

Using audio transitions, video transitions, and video effects, I made a folk-rock inspired mixtape filled with a range of different songs. Specific time codes were picked to created the best blend between song clips and effects were added to the graphics along with a title to add visual interest.

InDesign Projects

School Calendar

The class split into groups of four and selected a project and a project manager. My group selected the calendar and I was selected as to project manager. We utilized links to link graphics to websites to make it interactive.

Infographic

When designing this infographic I had to consider how much text was being used, and how detailed images can be. I chose a timeline road map infographic style.

Class Cookbook

A recipe and image was taken from each student in the Adobe class. we then followed a video and designed the pages to contain the recipes, ingredients, and image using paragraph and character styles.

Book jacket / dust cover

When designing this book cover I had to design something completely new that didn't look too similar to already existing ones. I had to research other book covers and I had to research about the author and book. I used a combination of Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to draw the graphics.

Mini Yearbook Spread

Using photography I took photos from my phone related to the visual art classes at my school. I then used elements of design to design a yearbook page.
